

It’s very disappointing to have gotten to this point but being unable to finish this project for something so stupid. If I morph the mesh, you can use it with any face template but there’s a chance it will deform plus Maxis lashes will still be there (ugh). If I leave the mesh unmorphed, you can get rid of Maxis lashes using sliders but that would mean you can only make the lashes work with the base face or any other that has a similar eye shape. You may remember Peggy alpha lashes and how that happened to them too.

Now, that’s a problem when your sims have weirdly shaped eyes or you want to change the size of their lashes as it will make the mesh deform pretty badly. That way the mesh follows the closest vertices of the face. In order to make the eyelashes fit any eye shape I have to “morph” the mesh (not the correct term here but whatever). This is something I’ve been working on for a long time (more than a year I think?) but that I couldn’t get to animate right until kindly helped me (thank you again!).
