

This article guides on how to enable the access permissions for TeamViewer on macOS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher versions.

Please open the setting by clicking on Extras -> Options -> Advanced -> Show advanced options -> Advanced network settings -> Install monitor driver -> click Install.Apple has introduced a security mechanism since macOS 10.14 (Mojave), which requires special access to be granted to remote control applications like TeamViewer. If you use macOS 10.14 or higher version, it is neccessary to enable the accessibility permissions for TeamViewer, otherwise the TeamViewer will not be installed, or any TeamViewer users connecting to macOS 10.14 or higher version will not get the ability to see or control anything on this mac. You can also install the TeamViewer monitor driver via the TeamViewer settings. Please click on Continue (3) to install the driver. If it is not installed, you will be prompted to install it when using the feature for the first time. A pop up will appear. If the driver is already installed, the remote screen will turn black immediately. The supported image formats for macOS are: BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNGįor Windows 7 and below, to be able to turn the remote screen black, the TeamViewer monitor driver needs to be installed on the remote device. 📌Note: The supported image formats for Windows are: JPEG and PNG

Please make sure that the image is located in the path you have indicated.
